Class 3A

Upcoming Exciting News

Welcome to GRADE 3!  I want to welcome everyone, especially those students who our new to our school.  We will have a very busy start to the year.  Here is just a sample of what to look forward to.

Religion:  We are taking a closer look at our theme for this Year: "Living, Celebrating and Proclaiming Our Faith"  Throughout the year, there will be a school-wide focus on learning to proclaim our faith, and share our faith in all things, especially in the day to day simple things as well as the big events. We will also be learning about ways to pray and learning and reviewing a few of the prayers that are said together with the whole school.  These include:  The Prayer of St. Francis, Our Father, Hail Mary, the Doxology (the Glory Be) and The Angel of God. Finally, we will be looking at the various parts of the Mass.

Homework

HOMEWORK TIP #1:  Please look carefully at the due dates for the following assignments.  A talented student will complete the ones that are due first before the other ones.

HOMEWORK TIP #2: Remember to bring your assignments back to school even if they are not finished or due that particular day.  You never know when you may get free  or extra time in class to work on unfinished work.  If you have your assignments with you, you can use your class time wisely.

HOMEWORK TIP #3:  Use your planner to help you pack your backpack.  That way you will be sure to have all of your necessary work and supplies at school or at home.
