Dear Parents,

At school basketball season has come to an end, and in the community hockey, basketball and soccer seasons are now wrapping up. The last third of the year will be packed full of activities at school: track and field, soccer, student-led conferences, Easter activities, Confirmation, and Play Day to name a few. Similarly I know families will be busy with outside activities such as lacrosse, baseball and music and dance competitions and recitals. My prayer for all of you is that you are able to enjoy all these activities in which your child takes part. Friday is our last day of school prior to the Spring Break. School will resume on Monday, April 1. I wish all of you a safe and blessed vacation.

God Bless,

Kelly Kozack

Spring Play Student Production - ‘Steadfast’:  Last January, I wrote to you about my plan for our students to create a drama performance of ‘Steadfast’, an adaptation of the ‘Little Tin Soldier’ written by Hans Christian Anderson.

At the time, I wanted to hold a meeting for parents who wanted to help. Those of you who replied to my letter, will know I decided to postpone the meeting, until the production team of students were up and running. I would now like to go ahead with the meeting on Wednesday April 3rd, at 6.30 pm, in the gym. It is the first Wednesday on our return from March break. The idea is to find out who can help our production team in an advisory role, and where there are gaps in our expertise, to take the lead.

Bible Study:  Please join us for our newest Bible Study, David the King, Presented by Bishop Barron Running Tuesdays from March 19 to April  23, 2019, 12:00 noon-2:30 pm at Augustine House, Media Room, 3rd Floor. David is the paradigmatic king in the Old Testament.  His kingship recalls that of Adam in the Garden of Eden, and yet it points toward the King par excellence, Jesus Christ.  In David the King, Bishop Barron helps us to understand this pivotal figure in light of the first King and the King of Kings. King David causes us to look back toward Adam’s kingship and forward toward Christ the King, seeing Christ as the fulfillment of the Davidic line and the realization of the Kingdom of God on earth.  Cost: $20.00.  For more information and registration, please contact, Sue Steevie at 604-943-3007, This email address is being protected from spambots.
