Spring is in the air. The sun is shining, for the most part, it is light out when we come to work in the
morning and when we go home at the end of the day. Children are talking about opening day of the minor
baseball season, which took place on Saturday; our track and field team’s practices are in full swing. We
had a great turn out for our Terry Small presentation on Monday evening (close to 200 people); the
audience was made up of children, parents and teachers. Thank you for supporting this initiative. Our
Grade 2 students are in the final stages of preparation for receiving the Sacrament of First Holy
Communion. Please keep these children and their families in your prayers.
Like shopping for a good cause? Come to classes 6 and 6A on Friday, April 8th for a student driven sale. Parents and students are welcome. Remember to bring your money and be ready to shop.
Student-Led Conferences Next Week: Online registration begins Thursday, April 7th at 5pm. The Conferences are scheduled for Wednesday, April 13th from 2:30 - 8:00pm.
All parents are invited to meet with your child in their classroom for a 30 minute period next week. These meetings are intended to provide parents with an opportunity to see evidence of your child's learning. Conferences are scheduled for a maximum of 30 minutes. Your child will be leading you through their classroom routines and will show you some of the work they have recently completed.
Please Note: You will be sharing the classroom space with other students and their parents so it is NOT an appropriate time to discuss details your child's progress with the teacher. If you need to speak privately with the teacher, please make arrangements to meet at a later date.
