Thank you to all the parents that help with supervision, library duty and classroom volunteers who create many class projects throughout the year. Your dedication inspires children to thrive and grow spiritually, emotionally and academically. The countless hours that parents spend putting on events like the Dinner Dance Auction (DDA), Walkathon, First Communion and Confirmation show the strength of our community. When you are coming to help at our school please remember to enter through the front door, sign in at the office and get a badge.
For the safety of the children, when dropping off and picking up please ensure that you are following the procedures as outlined on our attached Traffic Flow Map. I would like to draw you attention to a few points:
Please remind your children not to walk past the south crosswalk by Neverland Daycare or around the corner of the Parish Centre after school. Pick up is never permitted at the back of the Parish Centre by the playground.
The Drop-off zone runs along the side west side of the Parish Centre. We have two lanes of traffic, one for people who are dropping off or picking up their children (Drop-off/Pick-up Zones) and a Thru-Traffic Lane for people exiting the property. Please ensure that you are in one of those two lanes. Children walk alongside the Parish Centre after they have been dropped off, under no circumstances should anyone be driving in this area. Thank you for driving carefully and keeping everyone safe.

Odyssey of the Mind - Interested? Odyssey of the Mind is a program for students, in grades 3-7, that encourages creative thinking, team work and problem solving skills in a fun and friendly way.
Teams of 5-7 members solve a "Long Term" problem, which they create, produce, practice over 5-6 months and then present at competition in the spring. The problem might be to design a vehicle, produce a play or build a balsa wood structure - problems are different each year. In addition to this long term problem, the team is also presented at the competition with a "Spontaneous" problem, which they must solve or respond to in a short period of time. There is no one right answer, judges provide teams with feedback and reward them for creativity, quick thinking, and style in their solutions.
