Dear Parents,

Being at Swangard Stadium with our children for the CISVA Cross Country Champions I am reminded once again of how fortunate I am to work at Sacred Heart School. Being together as a Catholic school community, participating with over 30 other Catholic schools from the Archdiocese, is a great way to wrap up the cross country season. Today Cross Country comes to an end. While we do not yet know the final results of the meet, I can say that I am thankful for all of the work that our staff and parents have put in to make this a great season. Finally I say thank to you our students who represented our school so well, by both their performance and by their attitude. It is our hope that many of our children have developed a love for running and will become life-long runners.

On behalf of the staff I wish you and your family a Happy Thanksgiving.

God Bless,

Kelly Kozack

Thanksgiving Holiday, Monday, October 9:  No School.

Parent/Visitor Protocol:  Please make sure that you or the person you choose to pick up your children always sign in at the office and pick up a visitor’s badge.  No matter how frequently you visit, staff and children need to know that you have signed in at the office.  In this way you also set the tone and expectation for new people coming to the school.

When Your Child is Late or Absent:  Please notify the office either by the Attendance Hotline on our school website (this notifies office and teacher simultaneously) or by email to the office at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..  Each and every absence must be reported for audit purposes.  Thank you.

Lost and Found Monthly Clean Up:  The Lost a & Found Bin is being sorted and all unlabeled uniforms will be donated to the used uniform stock.  All other unidentifiable items (including jackets and shoes) will be donated to our local thrift shop.  This process will take place at the end of each month for the entire school year.  Please label everything your child owns so that it can be returned to them if these things are found.

This month the box is almost full with non-uniform items.
