I trust you all of had a wonderful Thanksgiving long weekend and were able to enjoy the beautiful sunshine we were blessed with on Sunday and Monday. Working in this community, with committed staff, supportive parents and wonderful children is something for which I am very thankful.
As the days become darker and the rain sets in I would like to remind you to please use caution when driving your children to school and picking up at the end of the day. The safety of our children is the main concern of us all.
DDA Update: Thanksgiving is over and now it is time to get serious about planning for the Dinner Dance Auction. The theme will see the gym transformed into an underwater paradise complete with jellyfish and coral reefs. Dress code: no mermaid tails necessary, but plan to impress with a cocktail dress and suits for the gentlemen.
Get on the inside track by signing up for one of the many volunteer positions are still open! New families - this is an excellent opportunity to get involved with the school community and meet new people. (Secret Tip: Some of the positions are worth double the hours!)
October - the Month of the Rosary: Here are some things to do this October.
Pray the Rosary, or 5 decades of the Rosary tonight with your family. Visual aids at the beginning of each decade, for each mystery, help engage children. To learn more about the Rosary go to:Catholic Culture
Pray a Living Rosary with young families: Tues, Oct 24, 6:15-7:30pm in the school. You may also bring images of Mary & rosaries to be blessed. Refreshments to follow.
