Dear Parents,

First Communion, Walkathon, Confirmation, Track and Field Meets...it must be May!! All these events are what make us a great faith community, like any community it takes everyone to do their part. I thank all of you for stepping up and volunteering at our school functions throughout the year. We are in need of a few more volunteers for Sunday’s walkathon. Walkathon Fundraiser 2018 Super Hero Dash – This Sunday May 6 at 12:45pm:

Class Prizes: Thank you to all the students who handed in their rally prize draw forms! Please also bring them in on Friday. We will be announcing which classes are in the running for a class prize. Class prizes are awarded based on average donations collected per student. This ensures all classes, regardless of size, have an opportunity to win!

Individual Prizes:

  • We have some great individual prizes that will be awarded to students at the $100, $200 and $300 levels.

  • The top 10 fundraisers will be entered into a draw for a Google Chrome. They must raise a minimum of $300 to be entered.

  • Top Earner – New this year! The top earner in the school will be a Super Hero for a day. Their class will win ice cream for lunch and no uniform.

School prize: If the students collectively raise $40K, they will have non-uniform day and Mr. Kozak and Mrs. Grund will dress as Super Hero’s!

Online Donations: Please remember that you can donate online at https://chim.pn/2EvpgGC . The current funds noted on this web site include the online totals from last year’s Walkathon which was just over $18K. We need to keep the momentum going this year! Please send the link to your supporters for a quick and easy way to donate.

Walkathon Volunteers: Thank you for signing up to help with this important event! If for any reason you are unable to make it to your shift, please find someone to take your place. We will need all the positions filled for the day! We still have a few volunteer positions left so register online.

Coolers: We are in need of 2 large coolers. If anyone can bring them for the day please email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

Walkathon information is on the SHS web site and all volunteers who have signed up online will get a reminder email this week.  Go out and get those donations!
